Rara Lake in Nepal is the important lake. Rara Lake, the largest lake in Nepal, is five kilometers long and two kilometers wide and its water reaches a depth of 170 meters. It is in Western Nepal, part of the Rara National Park. The lake lies at an altitude of 2,900 meters above sea level and spans an area of 10 square kilometers. The clear waters, which reflect the snow-capped Himalayas, is surrounded by blue pine, black juniper forest and Himalayan cypress.
