Thomas Cook seems to be on an acquisition spree. They announced their merger with LKP Forex in the beginning of 2006 and are now in the process of acquiring Travel Corporation (India) Pvt. Ltd. With its merger with LKP Forex, Thomas Cook had become the biggest forex player in the country. It will now become one of the largest travel and tour operators in India.
