Hollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary In Assam
Hollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary is a small Sanctuary of 20.98 sq. kms. in Jorhat district with semi-evergreen forests and evergreen patches amidst tea gardens and human settlements. The Sanctuary is named after the only Ape (Hoolock Gibbon) found in India.
How to reach Hollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary : By road from Mariani Rly. Junction it is only 5 kms. away and from Rowriah Airport (Jorhat) it is 25 kms., from Jorhat town it is 20 kms.
